These White Trash Sliders are a delicious and easy party food option that will surely be a hit with your guests. Featuring seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and classic slider accompaniments, these baked sliders are perfect for any gathering or a fun family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

For the sliders:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls, sliced in half
  • 6 slices American cheese, cut in halves
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

For topping:

  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle slices
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook the beef: Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. Season the beef: Add the onion soup mix and Worcestershire sauce to the beef. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Prepare the buns: Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a greased baking dish. Spread mayonnaise and ketchup on the buns.
  5. Assemble the sliders: Spoon the beef mixture over the buns, then top with cheese and pickles. Place the top halves of the buns over the filling.
  6. Bake: Brush the tops of the sliders with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Serve: Serve the sliders warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute the ground beef with ground turkey or plant-based crumbles.
  • For added flavor, consider incorporating sautéed onions or jalapeños into the beef mixture.
