- 1/3 cup water
- 1/2 cup canned diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
For the taco ring:
- 2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 egg, beaten (for brushing)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook the beef: In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and water. Simmer until thickened.
- Add tomatoes and cheese: Stir in diced tomatoes with green chilies and shredded cheese. Let cool slightly.
- Prepare the ring: Unroll crescent dough into triangles. Arrange in a circle on the baking sheet, spoon beef mixture around the ring, fold dough over filling.
- Bake: Brush dough with beaten egg and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden.
- Serve: Let cool, slice, and serve with desired toppings.
