Description

Spicy Beef Dumpling Rolls are a delicious Asian-inspired appetizer that combines savory ground beef, aromatic spices, and crunchy cabbage, all wrapped in a crispy shell. These flavorful dumpling rolls are perfect for parties or as a tasty snack.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Filling:

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 cup finely shredded cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For Assembly:

  • 20 dumpling or spring roll wrappers
  • small bowl of water for sealing
  • oil for frying or spraying if baking

Instructions

  1. Cook the Filling: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet, cook ground beef, garlic, ginger, and green onions. Add cabbage, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Cook until cabbage is softened. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  2. Assemble the Rolls: Place a wrapper on a clean surface, spoon filling near one edge. Fold in sides and roll tightly, sealing the edge with water. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  3. Cook the Rolls: Deep fry until golden brown, pan-fry until crispy, or bake until golden, flipping halfway through.

Notes

  • Serve with a dipping sauce of soy sauce, rice vinegar, and chili oil.
  • Filling can be prepped ahead and refrigerated for up to 2 days.
  • For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with crumbled tofu or mushrooms.
