Ingredients
Roasted Garlic:
1 large head of garlic, 1 tablespoon olive oil
Dip Base:
1 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons cream cheese (softened), 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Garnish:
chopped chives or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Roast Garlic: Slice the top off the head of garlic, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 35–40 minutes until soft and golden. Squeeze out roasted cloves.
- Prepare Dip: In a bowl, combine roasted garlic, sour cream, mayonnaise, cream cheese, lemon juice, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Chill: For a silkier texture, blend in a food processor. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Garnish: Before serving, garnish with chopped chives or parsley.
