Ingredients

Roasted Garlic:

1 large head of garlic, 1 tablespoon olive oil

Dip Base:

1 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons cream cheese (softened), 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Garnish:

chopped chives or parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Roast Garlic: Slice the top off the head of garlic, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 35–40 minutes until soft and golden. Squeeze out roasted cloves.
  3. Prepare Dip: In a bowl, combine roasted garlic, sour cream, mayonnaise, cream cheese, lemon juice, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Chill: For a silkier texture, blend in a food processor. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Garnish: Before serving, garnish with chopped chives or parsley.
