- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it’s ready for roasting the cabbage steaks evenly.
- Prepare cabbage steaks: Remove the stems from the cabbage heads and slice each head into four thick steaks, about ¾ to 1 inch thick, to allow even cooking and a nice texture.
- Arrange on baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup and arrange the cabbage steaks on it, spacing them apart so the heat circulates well and they roast evenly.
- Season the steaks: Brush both sides of each cabbage steak generously with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt, garlic powder, and paprika for flavor and color.
- Roast: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for about 25 minutes until the edges become crispy and browned, and the centers are tender when pierced.
