Scale
Fruits
- 3 medium fresh peaches (peeled and pitted)
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
Liquids
- 4 cups water
Sweeteners
- ½ cup sugar (adjust to taste depending on peach sweetness)
Additional
- 2 cups ice
- Mint leaves (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Peaches: Peel and pit the fresh peaches. Cut them into chunks for easier blending. You can also use frozen peaches if fresh ones are unavailable.
- Blend Peaches: Place the chopped peaches into a blender and blend until smooth. You may leave some small peach bits if you prefer a thicker texture or blend fully for a smooth consistency.
- Mix Lemonade Base: In a pitcher, combine the peach puree, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely. Add 4 cups of cold water and stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Adjust Flavor: Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness if needed by adding more sugar or peach puree. For a more tart flavor, add extra lemon juice according to your preference.
- Serve: Serve the Peach Lemonade over ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a slice of peach or lemon for an appealing presentation and added freshness.
Notes
- You can substitute fresh peaches with frozen peaches if fresh are not in season.
- Adjust sugar according to the sweetness of your peaches to avoid oversweetening.
- For an adult version, consider adding a splash of vodka or rum.
- Peach Lemonade is best served immediately but can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
