For the Sauce:

- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
For Serving:
- 1 cup cooked rice or pasta (optional)
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet. Add chicken, season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken.
- Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add butter, garlic, and onion. Sauté until fragrant. Add broccoli and chicken broth. Cover and steam. Return chicken to the skillet. Stir in cream and Parmesan. Cook until sauce thickens.
- Serve: Adjust seasoning, serve hot alone or over rice/pasta. Garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
- You can use frozen broccoli if fresh isn’t available—just steam it before adding to the pan.
- Add red pepper flakes for heat or swap heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter option.
