Cookie Base:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups quick oats
Topping:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare Base: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Combine butter, milk, sugar, cocoa, and salt in a saucepan. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat, add vanilla, peanut butter, oats. Mix well.
- Assemble: Spread mixture into the dish. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top, press gently.
- Cool and Serve: Let it cool at room temperature for an hour or refrigerate for 30 minutes. Cut into squares and enjoy!
