Ingredients
Scale
Beef Filling
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
Cheese Sauce and Toppings
- 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped red onions
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Wraps and Cooking
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Cooking spray or a drizzle of oil for toasting
Instructions
- Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it is fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess grease if needed.
- Season the Beef: Stir in the taco seasoning and water, then simmer for 2–3 minutes until the liquid is mostly absorbed and the beef is well seasoned.
- Warm the Cheese Sauce: Heat the nacho cheese sauce in a microwave or small saucepan until it is smooth and pourable.
- Assemble the Wraps: Lay out each flour tortilla. Spoon a portion of the seasoned beef in the center, then top with warm nacho cheese sauce, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onions, olives if using, and a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Roll the Wraps: Fold the sides of the tortilla in and roll tightly to enclose the filling securely.
- Toast the Wraps: Lightly spray a skillet with cooking spray or brush with oil. Toast each wrap over medium heat for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
- Serve: Slice the wraps in half and serve immediately while warm.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- For extra heat, add sliced jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce inside the wrap.
