Description

Nacho Cheese Beef Wraps are a delicious and easy-to-make meal featuring seasoned ground beef, warm nacho cheese sauce, and fresh toppings all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla and toasted to crispy perfection. Perfect for a satisfying lunch or dinner, these wraps combine classic Tex-Mex flavors with simple ingredients for a crowd-pleasing dish.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef Filling

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water

Cheese Sauce and Toppings

  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Wraps and Cooking

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Cooking spray or a drizzle of oil for toasting

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it is fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess grease if needed.
  2. Season the Beef: Stir in the taco seasoning and water, then simmer for 2–3 minutes until the liquid is mostly absorbed and the beef is well seasoned.
  3. Warm the Cheese Sauce: Heat the nacho cheese sauce in a microwave or small saucepan until it is smooth and pourable.
  4. Assemble the Wraps: Lay out each flour tortilla. Spoon a portion of the seasoned beef in the center, then top with warm nacho cheese sauce, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onions, olives if using, and a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Roll the Wraps: Fold the sides of the tortilla in and roll tightly to enclose the filling securely.
  6. Toast the Wraps: Lightly spray a skillet with cooking spray or brush with oil. Toast each wrap over medium heat for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  7. Serve: Slice the wraps in half and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • For extra heat, add sliced jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce inside the wrap.
