Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Prepare the cookie dough: Cream together the butter and sugar, then beat in the egg, vanilla, and lemon zest. In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, lavender, and salt. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Form dough into balls, flatten, and bake for 10–12 minutes.
- Make the filling: Beat butter until smooth, then add powdered sugar, lemon juice, and zest. Beat until fluffy, adjusting with milk for consistency.
