Breadcrumb Mixture:

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Coating:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter (for brushing or drizzling)

Garnish:

  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Coating: In a shallow bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat Chicken: Dip each chicken tender first in flour, then in beaten eggs, and finally coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Bake: Place the coated tenders on the baking sheet, brush with olive oil or melted butter, and bake for 18–20 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  5. Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
