Description

Savor the perfect combination of tender garlic butter steak bites paired with cheesy Alfredo pasta twists. This easy-to-make recipe features seared steak pieces tossed with creamy Parmesan Alfredo sauce and topped with melted mozzarella for an indulgent, crowd-pleasing meal.

Ingredients

Scale

Steak Bites

  • 1 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Pasta & Sauce

  • 12 oz pasta twists (rotini or cavatappi)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set it aside to be combined later.
  2. Cook the Steak: Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the bite-sized steak pieces with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes until the steak is browned and cooked through. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until it becomes fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and add the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir continuously until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy, incorporating the flavorful bits left from cooking the steak.
  4. Combine Pasta and Steak: Add the cooked pasta and steak bites back into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss everything well to coat the pasta and steak evenly with the rich sauce. Sprinkle in the black pepper and Italian seasoning for extra flavor, then stir to combine.
  5. Add Cheese: Finally, top the pasta and steak mixture with shredded mozzarella. Let it melt slightly in the skillet for a gooey, cheesy finish before serving.

Notes

  • Use a high-quality, well-marbled steak for the most tender and flavorful bites.
  • You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter sauce, though it will be less creamy.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the Alfredo sauce for a slight kick.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor; leftover steak can dry out if reheated improperly.
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese is recommended for the best melting and flavor.
