Chicken:

- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Sauce:
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes (in oil, drained)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil (chopped, plus more for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken: Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Sear the chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the chicken until golden. Transfer to the slow cooker.
- Make the sauce: Sauté garlic, then add chicken broth, cream, Parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer and pour over chicken.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours until chicken is tender.
- Finish: Stir in fresh basil before serving. Garnish with more basil and Parmesan.
