Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Prepare Chocolate Mixture: In a saucepan, heat cream and milk until steaming. Remove from heat, add chopped chocolate, and stir until smooth.
  3. Combine Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk egg yolks, sugar, and salt. Slowly add the chocolate mixture, whisking constantly. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Strain and Divide: Strain mixture and divide among ramekins. Create a water bath and bake for 30–35 minutes.
  5. Cool and Chill: Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free version, use full-fat coconut milk and dairy-free chocolate.
