- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tbsp hot sauce
Mushrooms and Topping
- 1 (16 oz) package baby Bella mushrooms, washed and stems removed
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for baking the stuffed mushrooms.
- Prepare Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, drained crab meat, minced garlic, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, parsley, salt, pepper, onion powder, and hot sauce. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated into a creamy mixture.
- Stuff Mushrooms: Spoon the crab cheese mixture evenly into each mushroom cap, filling them generously. Then, carefully tip or sprinkle panko breadcrumbs over the tops for a crunchy topping.
- Bake: Arrange the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the topping turns a golden brown color.
Notes
- Be sure to thoroughly drain the crab meat to prevent the filling from becoming too watery.
- You can substitute baby Bella mushrooms with white button mushrooms if preferred.

- For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free breadcrumbs instead of panko.
