Description

A quick and easy Chicken Avocado Wrap combining tender cooked chicken breast, creamy avocado, fresh vegetables, and a flavorful ranch dressing, all wrapped in soft flour tortillas. Perfect for a light lunch or dinner that is both satisfying and nutritious.

Ingredients

Scale

Wrap Ingredients

  • 1 cooked chicken breast, sliced or shredded
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 2 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2-3 tablespoons ranch dressing (or your favorite dressing)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Ensure the cooked chicken breast is sliced or shredded into bite-sized pieces, making it easy to wrap and eat.
  2. Prepare the Avocado: Slice the ripe avocado thinly to layer within the wrap for a creamy texture.
  3. Assemble the Wrap: Lay out the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface. Evenly distribute shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced avocado, and shredded cheddar cheese over each tortilla.
  4. Add Chicken and Dressing: Place the sliced or shredded chicken breast on top of the vegetables, then drizzle 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of ranch dressing over each wrap. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Roll the Wrap: Carefully fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it tightly from one end to the other to enclose the filling securely.
  6. Serve: Cut the wrap diagonally if desired, and serve immediately for best freshness and flavor.

Notes

  • Use cooked chicken from leftover grilled or roasted chicken for convenience.
  • You can substitute ranch dressing with any dressing of your choice such as Caesar, honey mustard, or a light vinaigrette.
  • For a gluten-free option, replace flour tortillas with corn or gluten-free tortillas.
  • Add other vegetables like cucumber or bell pepper for extra crunch and nutrition.
  • If you prefer, warm the tortillas slightly in a skillet or microwave before assembling for a softer wrap.
