Description

Delicious and easy Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps made with tender cooked chicken, a blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, cream cheese, and savory garlic flavors. These wraps are skillet-toasted to golden perfection for a melty, satisfying meal perfect for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken Mixture

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Wraps

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or cooking spray for toasting

Instructions

  1. Sauté Garlic: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Prepare Chicken Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, sautéed garlic, mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed and creamy.
  3. Warm Tortillas: Warm the tortillas slightly to make them easier to fold.
  4. Assemble Wraps: Divide the chicken mixture evenly among the tortillas, spreading it across the center of each. Sprinkle with fresh parsley if using. Fold in the sides of each tortilla, then roll up tightly into wraps.
  5. Toast Wraps: Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly coat with butter or cooking spray. Place wraps seam-side down and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve: Slice and serve the wraps warm for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Add sautéed spinach or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrition.
  • These wraps reheat well in a skillet or air fryer.
