Scale
Cones
- 4 sugar cones
Fillings
- Mini marshmallows, about 1/2 cup
- Semisweet chocolate chips, 1/4 cup
- Peanut butter chips, 1/4 cup
- 1 small banana, sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries
- 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers
Other
- Aluminum foil for wrapping
Instructions
- Prepare the cones: Take each sugar cone and begin to fill it with a combination of mini marshmallows, semisweet chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips. Layer some sliced bananas and chopped strawberries into the mix, then add crushed graham crackers on top. Fill each cone leaving a little room at the top for the fillings to melt and expand.
- Wrap the cones: Carefully wrap each filled cone tightly in aluminum foil to prevent any fillings from spilling out and to help the heat distribute evenly during cooking.
- Cook over campfire: Place the foil-wrapped cones on a grill grate set over a campfire or directly on hot embers. Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure the contents melt evenly and become gooey.
- Serve warm: Using tongs or heat-resistant gloves, carefully remove the cones from the fire. Allow them to cool slightly before unwrapping to avoid burns. Enjoy immediately while warm and melted.
Notes
- You can customize your cones by adding other fillings such as caramel chips, Nutella, shredded coconut, or mini cookies to suit your taste.
- This dessert is perfect for kids and can be prepped ahead of time for convenience.
- Be cautious when handling the hot foil-wrapped cones as they retain heat for some time after cooking.
